Risk Management Model for Outsourcing-Free-Samples for Students
Question: Discuss about the Advantage and disadvantage of outsourcing Business Functions. Answer: Introduction Business process outsourcing can be defined as contracting out few business processes or functions to the third party (Mohr, Sengupta and Slater 2009). These functions or processes can be outsourced to a company or an individual. The company to which function or process is outsourced is known as the vendor company or outsourcing partner. Businesses usually go for outsourcing to focus on their core processes and functions in which they have expertise. Outsourcing helps the business to contract out less relevant processes or functions to some other individual or organisation; this gives competitive advantage to the frim. Outsourcing can be permanent or temporary depending upon the need and contractual obligations. Few common aspects that businesses outsourcing include marketing research, human resource, legal affairs, customer call centres, manufacturing, information technology, payroll processing, and facility management (Schniederjans 2015). Outsourcing can be of many types such as m anufacturing outsourcing, professional service outsourcing, process specific outsourcing, offshore outsourcing and operational outsourcing service. All the information available about this topic will be heavily weighed and considered before framing a judgement or professional opinion. Literature Review: Outsourcing business processes and functions have emerged as a recent trend. This topic has been in the continuous debate from years. Different authors have different opinions about outsourcing. The outsourcing has various advantages but its potential risks and drawbacks cannot be overlooked. Lot of arguments have been given by various authors for and against outsourcing. Various advantages are listed in table 1 of appendix. One of the major advantages of outsourcing business function is cost saving. Outsourcing enables a company to get the same kind of job done at lower prices due to difference in the economic environment of various countries. For example he labour cost in Asian countries is much lower than other countries. Thus contracting out some functions to Asian countries could give the firms cost benefit. Operating cost can be reduced by well-designed and well managed outsourcing (Bryce and Useem 1998). It has been evident from various researches that outsourcing easily trans fers the responsibility of less relevant business functions to third party. This helps the business to achieve specialisation. It allows the firm to focus on core business areas and their expertise (Qulin and Duhamel 2003).Outsourcing also increases business efficiency and reducing capital expenditures. The capital expenditures on doing the function or process self is saved by outsourcing. Also it increases the efficiency because the vendor firm is specialised in the function that is outsourced. Contracting out the work to third party enables the firm to have on- time processes without incurring capital expenditures (Razzaque and Sheng 1998). Outsourcing also offers the benefit of better quality because the vendor firms have specialisation in particular area. The thirst for quality is one of the basic reasons why firms go for outsourcing. When companies go for offshore outsourcing, it offers the benefits of availability of some resources that are not available in the home country. M ost of the companies ensure that despite savings the quality should not suffer. Companies outsource to gain innovation and improve product quality (Corbett 2004). Staffing flexibility can also be gained by outsourcing. It helps the companies having seasonal staffing requirements. Temporary services can be used to meet the peak season demands. Event sector firms need is the best example of such firms. They need huge workforce during a particular event. Outsourcing allows the company to bring in additional resources whenever required and release them whenever done (Gupta and Zhender 1994). Outsourcing of human resource function provides access to better skills and talents. Companies do not need to spend time and resources for recruiting and training the workforce in the organisation. Other organisations who are specialised and have skilled pool of talent can do this task better. Thus outsourcing of human resources function to a specialised organisation provides business access to skil led and talented resources without much effort (Greer, Youngblood, and Gray, 1999). Outsourcing business functions saves on infrastructure and technology. Some functions and processes require vast infrastructural setup and technological setup, outsourcing these functions shifts the responsibility to outsourcing partner. Outsourcing eliminates the need for infrastructural development and the process or function is performed by outsourcing partner (Grover, Cheon and Teng 1996). Time zone advantage is another major advantage of offshore business process outsourcing. It allows the companies to have round the clock business operations. Example call centres situated at different locations provides services to customers of different companies at different times. It is one the most important advantage for todays global business (Kikuchi and Van Long 2010). Another major advantage of outsourcing business functions is risk reduction. Outsourcing various major functions such as human resource and knowledge based services reduces the risk to a considerable extent (Quinn 1999). These were the arguments were in the favour of business process outsourcing, there are various authors who contradict these advantages and present the various disadvantages of outsourcing business functions. Table 2 of appendix has list of potential drawbacks. One of the major disadvantages associated with outsourcing is loss of control. The firm loses the control over the function or process that was outsourced. For example if firm outsources its human resource function it will have a less control over the type of workforce that it wants to possess. The firm only has contractual control over the outsourcing partner. The management and control of that function shifts to the outsourcing partner (Antonucci, Lordi and Tucker 1998). Some authors also argue that outsourcing business functions does not actually save cost, outsourcing various business activities involves various hidden activities. Also this reduces capital expenditure but imposes various other costs, which are to be paid at frequent intervals. Anything that is not covered in contract involves additional cost (Lonsdale 1999). Major issue with outsourcing business functions is threat to security and confidentiality. If the compan y transfers any confidential information such as payroll records, medical records, product formula or any other important information, the security of the company and its people is compromised. If the private information of the company is made public by the outsourcing partner it can have various negative implications on the business (Raiborn, Butler and Massoud 2009). It is being argued by various authors that outsourcing business functions improves the quality but this is not possible in every case. The arguments against business function outsourcing state that outsourcing negatively impacts the quality. The contract only determines price and quantity, to earn higher profits outsourcing partner compromises the quality. In addition to quality hazards business also loses the ability to respond quickly to the changing environment. If a function or process is outsourced the changes cannot be implemented directly the changes that are to be adopted are transferred from the firm to outso urcing partner and implementing those changes requires changes in the contract and various other legal constraints (Blumberg 1998). Outsourcing of business functions can also lead to conflict of interest among the company and its outsourcing partner. It is not always possible that interest of business and its outsourcing partner are same, they may have different interest. The difference in interests of both the firms can lead to conflict among them, which is a negative implication (Avery 2000). Domberger (1998) and Hendry (1995) identified various other disadvantages of outsourcing business functions these include transaction cost, opportunistic behaviour and reduced learning and innovation (Mol and Kotabe 2011). Reduction in learning and innovation makes firm dependent on other firms. It indirectly reduces businesses firms ability to grow further. A drawback may also arise if the company has made a wrong choice while selecting the outsourcing partner or the contract is poor. If the company made poor selection of the vendor company it will ultimately hamper the process or function that is outsourced. Also the contract should always include all the terms and conditions poorly formulated business contract may lead business into trouble (Lee and Kim 1999). The available literature on outsourcing highlights that outsourcing of business functions or processes have various advantages and drawbacks. The outsourcing decision of the firm depends on potential risk and benefits associated with a particular decision. These advantages and disadvantages differ according to organisation, situation and market. Conclusion From the above study it can be concluded that outsourcing business process provides competitive edge to the businesses. It offers various advantages such as low cost, better quality, focus on core business areas, efficiency, staffing flexibility and well trained and skilled resources. Some of these advantages turn disadvantage in certain situations. For example outsourcing parent may compromise quality and the capital expenditure remain slow but the firm outsourcing may impose various time to time expenditure on the firm. Various other disadvantages of the firm include threat to security and confidentiality of information, contradicting interest of the outsourcing firm, wrong choice of the Vendor Company, poorly framed contract, low learning power, increased dependency and business loses its ability to quickly respond to changes in the business environment. There are various advantages but it depends on business weather it will gain benefits or has to face drawbacks. Every firm shoul d have a profound knowledge of advantages and disadvantages that can affect the company. The outsourcing decision of the firm and choice of the vendor should largely be depended on the possible outcomes. The company should always analyse the drawbacks and find out measures that how those drawbacks can be turned into the potential advantage. Overall the report clearly highlights the advantages and disadvantages of business functions outsourcing. References Abdur Razzaque, M. and Chen Sheng, C., 1998. Personal Marketing Plan Essay Example
Personal Marketing Plan Paper OBJECTIVES Combining business school education, professional/personal development training, self education along with life experiences directed me toward beginning a career as an entrepreneur. Many years have been spent taking classes and exploring various business opportunities. I started my college career as a business major. During that time, I also studied various art mediums to explore creative talents. In my junior year, I decided to combine those strengths and interests into my career path. Now that graduation is closer it is time to formulate and began executing a plan for the next 5 to 10 years of my life. Short Term Goals I have five main short-term goals, which include goals before graduation, educational career and professional goals. Before graduation, I aim to increase my grade point average to a 3. 0 minimum. Improving my resume and working knowledge through VCUââ¬â¢s small business mentorship program. And starting a part time personal home inventory service business while in school will enable me to apply previous knowledge, and use the many resources and services that are available. Start up cost for this venture is moderate compared to other businesses. My plan is to invest the minimum, $3000 during start up. Also I have employed the services of a professional coach to assist with personal and professional development. After graduation, (May 2008), my career goal is to expand my home inventory business, ââ¬Å"Professional Home Inventory Servicesâ⬠from part time to full time operation. I plan on continuing education at Virginia Commonwealth University or the University of Maryland. Here, the goal is to earn a certificate in International Management. With a personal interest in the African culture (African Art and History), I plan to begin my travels to Africa through a Study Abroad Program. My personal interest in Africa will be a lifelong study. This certification and additional coursework will help my career by opening up the passageway to a new business venture, security and most of all spiritual growth in knowing more of my African heritage. I have and investment goal to save 15% of my annual income in addition to current savings, for a second business, which will be a combination of Importing African Art for resale online and business consulting. Long Term Goals My long-term goals include the continuation of my career, personal and investment objectives. I plan to be operating the consulting firm, ââ¬Å"Robinson Business to Business Consultingâ⬠by 2013. I anticipate opening my import business,â⬠Africa All Around ââ¬Å"by 2015. I have estimated that it will take a minimum of 25,000 to 35,000 to start; therefore the money I have saved in addition to profits gained from the inventory service business will be used to help finance this venture. I want to continue to save a percentage of my income for future investments. Situation Analysis SWOT In order to understand what strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that I might encounter, I performed a SWOT analysis. As for my strengths, I am a highly creative and friendly person, I possess strong analytical skills, and I enjoy working alone and with small groups. I also have strong interpersonal skills. Patience and attention to detail are definitely virtues in the home inventory business. My main weakness is communicating in large groups. Improvement is needed in the areas of personal and professional development, writing and communication skills. At times, multitasking can be a challenge. I could be more effective with improvements in focusing, and time management. And I lack advanced training in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office. Also, a fair understanding and working observation of product values and knowledge of market values are needed for the inventory industry. That additional understanding will come with experience. There are several opportunities in front of me at this time. The first is the great need for small businesses for future economic growth, locally and internationally. There is a tremendous need for small business to keep up with technological advances and environmental changes. Small business can innovate and create new jobs at a faster rate than their larger competitors. Unfortunately, living in times of high crime, recurrent natural disasters and, bad weather conditions all in the mist of being extremely busy due to work and family demands is where I find opportunities to provide a service that is in demand . Owning a small business can be very challenging but with planning and organizing, allotted time will allow for personal interest endeavors such as travel and art. Finally, the threats I have include average competition, which is expected with a low cost high profit margin start up venture. Through research, I have found two companies in the Richmond Virginia area. There are companies on the internet that market home inventory software and not the bells and whistles of technology nor the personalized service aspect of the business like I will offer. But, the homeowner himself can accomplish this task if they choose to invest the time and effort. Another consideration is the rate of expansion, which is lower on average, than other businesses but once again, this business has high profit margins, on average than other businesses. Personal Marketing Strategy Target Market When targeting my market I will directly seek middle to upper class homeowners, current homebuyers and sellers (movers) in the market. Estate owners or their deceased relativesââ¬â¢ estates are good targets for asset documentation and estate sale planning and management. Demographically, services will be offered in Richmond VA. and surrounding counties and Northern VA. Marketing Mix ââ¬âThe 4 Pââ¬â¢s There are many factors to consider in why I (my company) should be hired. In order to improve my chances for consideration I must present myself as a product, promote myself, set my price and finally determine my place. Product: Since I am the product I am a marketable asset. I have several important skills that will make me a successful business owner. I have excellent customer service skills. I posses a since of business practices, and product knowledge. As mentioned in my SWOT analysis, I have patience and strong attention for detail. Change in external environmental conditions; weather, crime and consumer behavior leads to new marketing opportunities that may call for internal environmental changes. Staying current with the industry connective components over the industry span such as; insurance company practices, homeownerââ¬â¢s insurance policies, new real-estate developments, market value, safety and security, will be critical at all stages. Being able to deliver this information will add value to my product while marketing and adapting to changes. Promotion: Now that there is a product, it needs to be successfully promoted. There are several possible ways to do this. The first is networking; developing business contacts with insurance companies, real estate agents, close friends and relatives. Social functions, and community events are other ways offering information about myself and my work. Being affiliated with non profit organizations that assist with business ventures will be a romoting factor. I will treat every opportunity as if I was on an interview I will position myself as a serious career professional and not just a college student. Always taking advantage of every opportunity that may arise. Price: The earning of an inventory specialist varies depending on the size of the home. For example, a 1200sq. ft. home could cost $300 to $350 for about a 4 hour job. Following graduation, I expect to be earning between $35,000 and 45,000 a year. These numbers are based on demographics, the experience that I will have, and salary based on he industry. I will be willing to negotiate and discount services, providing that multiple services are purchased or if a business contract is landed thru a referral. Place: There are two cities in which I would want to live, Northern Va or Maryland. When considering where I want to live, several factors came into play. First, I weighed the average salary, cost of living, cultural activities. Demand and competition in this industry was also evaluated. Either of these areas could offer great opportunities for this field. I could pursue the same class of target customers. An informal network with current contacts of friends and family homeowners and organizations would be a channel for promoting and advertising. Also low cost mailings online advertising would be appropriate distribution method. Conclusion: The purpose of this personal marketing plan was to identify and evaluate my short and long term goals, determine my strengths and weaknesses, examine opportunities and threats that I face to create a action plan to determine my marketability as a entrepreneur. I will be able to target specific markets in which I want to work through specific methods of research geared to segmented markets. I will be able to choose and determine specific locations, salaries, organizational cultures which I believe I will be the most functional in. My conversation with professionals currently in the field have given me a better perspective and have caused me to think more about both the pros and cons of being a entrepreneur in the inventory management field. With the completion of this project I feel more prepared and focused towards what I need to accomplish in order to reach my ultimate goal in life.

Benefits Essay Example
Benefits Essay Example Benefits Essay Benefits Essay There are benefits to identifying the risks involved in any critical decision. The first is the decision-maker is able to answer the following question: Do the risks outweigh the benefits of the decision about to be made? The second is the decision-maker can evaluate whether the risks identified and documented can be managed and mitigated. A good risk analysis process begins with a good risk-analysis team. Brainstorming is imperative to identify risks. Teams must realize that all projects carry some risk, teams should proactively identify and prioritize risks, decision-makers should take steps to lesson risk when possible and the plan should include reactions to minimize potential risks if possible. The Smart tool 9 is a great 6 column form that provides a structured approach to identifying risks through thorough and efficient team work. Once a thorough risk analysis is completed the team must then completed the last half of persuasive communication template to present the project to the decision-makers so that approval for implementation can be obtained. When completing your presentation you should base your comments on the basis of the decision from the customerââ¬â¢s point of view, detail your solutions or recommendations, state the benefits of the decision from the customerââ¬â¢s point of view, affirm the implementation plan that shows the benefits and instigates agreement from the audience as well as the recommended action. Once completed, the final stage is the BSF ââ¬â Backwards, Sideways and Forwards. You ask the following questions: Backwards: Does the solution solve the problem identified in the beginning? Sideways: Does the solution solve any other problems? And Forwards: Could the final decision solve any future problems? The contingency plan is the final stage that solidifies the decision making process. The team must be prepared for any unexpected event that might interrupt the flow of processes. Should a risk become a reality do you understand the impact of the crisis? What will it cost to fix it? How long will it take to fix? What impact will this incident have on our largest customer? Will our competitors be able to exploit this situation? What do we say to the shareholders? Teamwork requires a group of responsible people who are on the business end of the decision and that possess the ability to look at a situation from all angles. A well organized team will establish well-organized decision making processes that include a good risk analysis backed up with a solid contingency plan and building a solid history of well-thought out strategies will maintain a reputation of thorough plan implementation. From this reading Iââ¬â¢ve learned that being thorough is key to any decision. Anticipating complications and preparing a contingency plan for a structured immediate reaction can only benefit the situation. Risks are present even with the simplest of decisions and if they are not addressed ahead of time instantaneous intervention is impossible.

Memo about ap stylebook Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words - 1
Memo about ap stylebook - Essay Example For example, all distances should be in figures, using ââ¬Ë5 miles is better than using five miles. Making this change will make the sentence more appealing to the reader unlike when it is in words. There are some words that are treated as two words, yet they seem better when they are written as one. ââ¬ËUnder wayââ¬â¢ appears better and has a good meaning when it is written as one word; ââ¬Ëunderwayââ¬â¢. Additionally, using a general term such as ââ¬Ëpartnersââ¬â¢ seems to be better and respectable when referring to a married couple. Husbands and wives is provocative and when it is pronounced it sounds as an offence to the one who is saying it and the people who are listening. The terms ââ¬Ëhusbandsââ¬â¢ and ââ¬Ëwivesââ¬â¢ should not be used to refer to the same sex couples. The AP Stylebook should consider doing away with the term ââ¬Ëillegal immigrantââ¬â¢. This is a loaded term and it is the action of migration that is illegal and not the person. The stylebook should instead advice clearly the action of illegal migration, because it is the controversy and not the person that is explained. Homosexuality is another word that brings many debates. The AP Stylebook describes homosexuality as a ââ¬Ësexual orientationââ¬â¢. Revising it to a ââ¬Ësexual preferenceââ¬â¢ sounds better because, preference is what someone likes to do while orientation is simply what you are. There is a need to cover social media guidelines in the AP stylebook. With the increase in user generated journalism pieces, the stylebook is supposed to show how they can secure and authenticate photo captions and some video scripts. AP should recognize Skype, Google Hangout, and flash mobs. It is important for them to develop a platform for communication with the people so that they may tell them and answer some questions or any other revisions made to the stylebook. Many people especially traditionalists have disagreed with some controversial changes that have been made in the past. Communicating

Art- Principles of Design Term Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words
Art- Principles of Design - Term Paper Example This paper will first discuss Luis Barraganââ¬â¢s Torri Satellites in the context of Modernist architecture. Then it will proceed to Benvenuto Celliniââ¬â¢s metal sculpture of the salt-cellar for King Francis I, created during the Renaissance period. Finally, the essay will turn its focus on Albrecht Durerââ¬â¢s metal craft entitled, Melencolia I created during the Italian Renaissance movement. Luis Barragan is one of the most renowned architects due to his firm devotion to modernism of the 20th century. Given this primary devotion to a new feat in the history of architecture, it can be said that Barraganââ¬â¢s philosophical leaning when it comes to the context of his field is towards the propagation of this new movement in architecture. It is with such philosophy that his works are transformed into structures of simplicity, elegance and unorthodoxy- one that is very new to the eyes of the people. Barragan is one of those who revolutionized the Modern Movement which began in the 1920s. The architect shares the same approach to this new phase of architecture with his colleagues like Lina Bo Bardi, Jose Antonio Coderch, Fernando Tavora, and Jorn Utzon (UNESCO 144). In 1957, Luis Barragan created his memorable piece, the Torri Satellites, which became well-known in the world. A joint-effort between him, the painter Jesus Reyes Ferreira and the sculptor Mathias Goeritz catapulted Barragan into the international line-up of architects and making him a recipient of the prestigious Pritzker Prize for Architecture in1980. The epitome of the Modern Movement of architecture is ever present in Luis Barraganââ¬â¢s Torri Satellites. This 4-piece structure is erected in a high class zone; each piece is a symbolism of utter simplicity because of its simple triangular cylinder. This is very modernist in nature ââ¬â the very style that explains Luis Barraganââ¬â¢s talent for architecture. Also, the color of each tower patterned in primary shades of red, blu e and yellow with the addition of a simple white for the last tower all explain how the concept of the Modern Movement caters minimalism in its designs (Ulloa 4). Going back several centuries in the annals of art history, Benvenuto Cellini was an exceptional goldsmith who surpassed the precepts of metal craft and was transformed into a painter and sculptor, thus a full-bred Italian artist of the early Renaissance period. All of Celliniââ¬â¢s mastery, his high class metal crafts and his intricate designs as both sculptor and painter, can be seen in a single work that he had created for King Francis I of France, the famous salt-cellar. It is in this salt-cellar that one can see the intricacy of Celliniââ¬â¢s style and the careful use of iconography as part of his designs. The salt-cellar for Francis I was one to be considered as Celliniââ¬â¢s exceptional works because the piece of art was a small-scale figure. The tight attention to detail and the symbolism attributed thereof was the highlight of Celliniââ¬â¢s masterpiece. The minute scale of Celliniââ¬â¢s piece was not a hindrance for his artistic capabilities to show. The salt-cellar for Francis I was a perfect example of the fusion of pre-Renaissance to the Renaissance precepts of art. Pre-Renaissance focused on the material value of an object which gives it the proper indication for social status. Renaissance, on the other hand, focused on the artistic value of an object. This essay will mainly concentrate on why such alcoholic advertisements should be restricted; and to what extent should any governments be able to control advertising. Generally, people drinking because they are happy or not, maybe because they get a raise in their salary, or get a rough patch at work, or just enjoy a night out at pub and so on. Mintels exclusive research confirms that the majority of adults, three quarters in the 2003 survey, believe that there is nothing wrong with drinking in moderation, and far more people drink occasionally-and mostly at home-than do so on a regular basis outside the home(Clark, 2003). As for the youth drinking alcohol, most of them just out of curiosity, or bear heavy burden from not only the economy but also the psychology like experiencing a disappointed love affair. In addition, alcoholic advertisement is found to be fancy and attractive for young people, which leave the impression of fun, or cool if they were drinking. According to health expert saying, since ancient times, drinking alcohol in moderation can be beneficial for our health, especially for red wine or beer, drinking a little per day is very good for preventing cardiovascular disease(Locke, 2011). But how about drinking too much? It may become easy for you to become emotional and suffer greatly from more other diseases, like chronic gastritis, alcoholism. Moreover, statistics show that alcohol-related admissions to hospital in England have topped 1m in a year for the first time. In other areas, up to 70% cases sent to the hospital were related to alcohol, and violence, accident and health issues that relating to alcohol are thought to cause thirty thousand premature deaths a year. Meanwhile, prescriptions for treating alcohol abuse have also risen(Meikle). Therefore, drinking too much is harmful for people both in physically and mentally. So how do people know about alcohol, from which channel? Absolutely, media is the main place for alcohol industry spending their money, it is the main channel for people get new information about alcohol, and it is believe that exposure to alcoholic advertisement can increase consumption and influence peoples attitudes towards alcohol especially for young people as they have not formed the correct understanding of it. In order to prevent the large amount of alcoholic advertising appears on media, over the last few decades, governments have set far stricter guidelines and regulations, in spite of this, the following table will disclose another side. Figure1: main alcoholic advertising expenditure on media, 1998-2003* | |? m |Sales ? m | |1998 |219. 7 |28,301 | |1999 |247. 3 |29,808 | |2000 |228. 6 |31,327 | |2001 |210. 2 |32,637 | |2002 |233. 7 |33,942 | |2003* |114. 7 |34,870** | *January to August **estimate Source: Nielsen Media research/Mintel The figure1 shows the advertising expenditure on alcohol, which discovers that during the 1998-2003, although the cost dropped almost half, the percentage of sales did not change a lot, conversely, it roses every year. According to an Kusserow(2001), who works on alcohol controlling revealed that regulations and standards placed on advertising control are almost invalid. Procedures are hard to follow through each department, the viability and effectiveness of huge criteria still have to be established. So Britain wants to balance of economy and health, the duty is not just the governments, and only depending on the polices of government is not far enough, alcoholic and other related-sectors should be self-regulated. On one hand, it is necessary for government to set out a series of limitations on advertising of alcoholic drinks, such as limiting the timing of advertisements on television, ads can be only allowed to display after 10:00pm, trying to avoid youth from it. Meanwhile, prohibiting the liquor company being the sponsor in sport, as Professor Gilmore(2007) said that the limitations should include alcohol sponsorship in sport as the alcohol was being advertised 24 hours a day. Besides, the contents of advertisement should be restricted, images like violence and potential crime should be forbidden as it is easy for young people doing the same things that shows on television. On the other hand, because of the boundedness of governments control, both public and private sectors have responsibilities to help to set out limitations to restrict its promotion and sales through ads. For examples, clubs and music pubs should abolish the unlimited drinking for a certain time only with the fixed money, people who are too young should not be permitted into this occasion. Besides, the price should be increased to reduce the alcohol consumption. In addition, manufacturer should develop a new production line, as an alternative to replace alcohol. Conclusion Now, alcohol has abounded in UKs society, being consumed by both adults and youth, which forms an unbalanced condition between economy and health. The mass advertising appears on television or networks or other channels is the main selling way. Naturally, to control alcoholic advertising is becoming more and more important in UK. But obviously, the actual effects that caused by governments policy is not big, so alcohol-related sector should play an increasing important part in controlling alcoholic advertising, then it must be more powerful and effectiveness.
